Under the auspices of the Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF), the vibrant ‘Suponna Samahar: Eco-Friendly Small Enterprise Fair 2024’ is currently underway at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Agargaon, Dhaka. The three-day fair, inaugurated by PKSF Chairman Dr. M Khairul Hossain, commenced on February 8th and will run until February 10th, welcoming visitors from 10 am to 8 pm daily.
With 77 stalls featuring SEP-assisted micro-entrepreneurs and an additional 47 stalls representing PKSF affiliates, the fair serves as a platform for showcasing a diverse range of safe and eco-friendly products crafted by these enterprising individuals.
The fair has attracted attention from esteemed guests, including representatives from the World Bank, PKSF Managing Director, senior government officials, university professors, and other dignitaries. Their visitations to the TMSS stall have been marked by expressions of satisfaction with the high quality and diversity of the showcased products.
Since its inception in 2018, PKSF’s Sustainable Enterprise Project (SEP) has been dedicated to empowering small entrepreneurs and fostering the growth of eco-friendly businesses. The ‘Suponna Samahar’ fair stands as a testament to this mission, aiming to promote, expand, and enhance market connectivity for the safe products generated by the SEP-supported entrepreneurs.
Through initiatives like this fair, PKSF continues to play a pivotal role in driving sustainable economic development, fostering entrepreneurship, and championing environmentally conscious business practices. As the event unfolds, it not only celebrates the achievements of these enterprising individuals but also highlights the potential for sustainable enterprises to make a meaningful impact on local communities and the environment at large.
