Bogura, 27 October 2026: TMSS held the quarterly review meeting of its SMART Project at the HEM Office in Bogura. The meeting focused on reviewing project progress and strengthening implementation strategies. It also aimed to ensure timely and effective delivery of planned activities.
The meeting brought together senior officials and project representatives from TMSS. They discussed key achievements, implementation challenges, and areas requiring further attention. The discussion also focused on providing strategic guidance to maintain project momentum and achieve its planned objectives.
Senior Leadership Provides Strategic Guidance
The meeting was attended by senior officials of the TMSS HEM Grand Sector (HGS), including:
- Mr. Md. Sohrab Ali Khan, Deputy Executive Director-3 and Sector Head, HEM Grand Sector, TMSS.
- Mr. Md. Ataur Rahman, Executive Adviser, HEM Grand Sector, TMSS.
- Mr. Md. Mahbubur Rahman, Director (HEM-OP & IT), TMSS.
- Mr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Director (Operations & Development) and Focal Person of the SMART Project, TMSS.
- Mr. Mawdud Ul Islam, Director (FF), TMSS.
- Mr. Md. Sajjadur Rahman, Joint Director and Domain Head, Operations-1, TMSS.
- Mr. Md. Kamruzzaman Khan, Joint Director and PC-HGS, TMSS.
Other senior management representatives and project officials also attended the meeting.
Project Progress and Implementation Priorities
Mr. Md. Monowar Hossain, Project Manager of SMART-Automobile, TMSS, presented a PowerPoint overview of the project’s progress.
His presentation highlighted the project’s implementation status and key areas requiring attention. Participants discussed progress, operational challenges, and necessary actions to maintain the implementation schedule.
The meeting also provided an opportunity for senior management to offer strategic directions. These discussions aimed to strengthen coordination, improve implementation efficiency, and ensure accountability among project teams.
