TMSS honored National Mourning Day through a variety of initiatives

As every time, TMSS honored the National Mourning Day and 48th martyrdom anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due respect and solemnity.

The Grand Health Sector of TMSS arranged a number of programs throughout the day to mark the anniversary. The national flag is hoisted in all medical educational institutions run by the Grand Health Sector. In addition, events such as wreath placing on the portrait of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, exhibition of authentic pictures and documentaries, day- long blood donation program, discussion meeting and doa mahfil seeking forgiveness of the souls of Bangabandhu and his family were planned.

The day was observed with the appropriate dignity in all of the branch offices across the nation run by TMSS Grand HEM Sector. On this day, food is given to the destitute and underprivileged in addition to the general public receiving saplings of various tree species for free.

TMSS Institute of Science and ICT, TMSS Feroza Begum Ayurvedic-Unani Medical College and Hospital, and Jobeda Foundation Nursing Institute together planned different programs, including placing wreaths at Bangabandhu’s Mural, to celebrate the day with the appropriate honor.

The TMSS Public School and College in Bogura hosted a discussion meeting, recitation competition, essay competition, painting competition, award distribution, and doa mahfil to honor the special day. Apart from this, various programs including discussion meeting, wreath offering, black badge holding, tree planting were held in all institutions including TMSS Engineering College, TMSS Textile Engineering Institute, TMSS Technical Institute, TMSS Dakhil Madrasah and Orphanage.

The day is celebrated with appropriate dignity by the many wings of the TMSS youth programs through a variety of events. In the Shajahanpur upazila of Bogura, tree saplings were dispersed with the aid of PKSF as part of a youth program project.
