TMC and RCH launched the afternoon’s specialized medical services program

The official launch of the special medical services program for afternoon and the pitha festival took place on January 16 in Bogura at the TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital. The chief trustee of the Aktar Mituli Trust and the AKS Rotarian of the Rotary Club of Dhaka, Mituli Mahbub, officially inaugurated the service initiative in the conference room of the TMSS Cancer Hospital.

There have been initiatives to offer afternoon medical services to low-income workers, those living in rural areas, professionals, and others who require urgent medical care. This endeavor will result in rapid access to pathology services and specialized medical consultations.

Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, Founder & Executive Director,TMSS,  Dr. Sushant Kumar Sarkar, Vice Principal, Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College,  Sarwar Mahmud, TMSS Consultant and Former Deputy Commissioner & Secretary,  Prof. Dr. Zakir Hossain, Principal, TMSS Medical College Bogura, Dr. Mohammad Shafiul Azam, Civil Surgeon, Bogura,  Dr. Samir Hossain Mishu, Bogura Sadar Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, Prof. Dr. Mojibur Rahman, Director of TMSS Heart Center and Head of Cardiology Department, Sohrab Ali Khan, Deputy Executive Director of TMSS and others spoke on the occasion.

Brigadier General (Retired) Dr. Md. Jamilur Rahman, the director of TMSS Medical College and Rafatullah Community Hospital, presided over the occasion, while TMSS Deputy Executive Director Rota Dr. Motiur Rahman made the welcome address. Senior Bogura officials from both the public and private sectors, as well as dignitaries, journalists, and representatives of many professions, were present. It should be highlighted that the Aktar Mituli Trust has given food aid to the underprivileged residents of the area throughout the Covid pandemic and winter clothing through TMSS. Additionally, a TMSS humanitarian loan program was developed to lower low-income people’s unemployment.
