This transformative initiative, to be executed by four NGOs, including TMSS, under the stewardship of Winrock International and generously funded by the US Government, promises to usher in a new era for the fishermen of South Bengal.

Notably, Saber Hossain Chowdhury, the Honorable Minister of the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change, graced the occasion virtually, delivering a keynote address that underscored the significance of the program.
Amidst an atmosphere charged with anticipation, the auspicious opening of the “B-PEMS AugroJatra” program was announced, heralding a new chapter in the socio-economic landscape of South Bengal. Through the Agrajatra project, stakeholders envision an unprecedented improvement in the livelihoods and well-being of the region’s fishermen, laying the foundation for sustainable development and inclusive growth.
