Launch of month-long craft and cottage industry expo 2022 at Momo Inn Entertainment World, Bogura
On November 10, the month-long handicraft and cottage industry expo-2022 was inaugurated at Taufiq Hasan Maina stage of TMSS Momo-Inn Entertainment World in Bogura.
Salah Uddin Ahmed, the additional district magistrate of Bogra, gave a speech at the fair’s opening. Rezaul Karim Badsha, the mayor of Bogra, and Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum, the founder and executive director of TMSS, spoke as special guests.
In addition to Shahinur Rahman Shaheen of S Alam Event Management, speakers included Deputy Executive Director of TMSS Dr. Md. Matiur Rahman, Director Abdus Salam, Consultant Agronomist Md. Asadur Rahman, and others. The welcoming address was given by TMSS Director Mohammad Ali Mithu. The fair’s chief organizer, Md. Mizanur Rahman Manik, was in charge of the proceedings. The entire program was presented by TMSS officer Md. Abdul Hannan.
S Alam Event management handled the execution of the Handicrafts and Cottage Industry expo-2022, which was organized by the Sky Dining Restaurant.
Local vendors have put up a variety of stalls at the fair to showcase and market their handcrafted cottage industry goods. At the fair, there are also food stands and a variety of rides for kids’ pleasure.
Salah Uddin Ahmed, the chief guest, noted that Bangladesh has a history of cottage manufacturing. In the past, muslin cloth had a well-known reputation around the globe. The present administration is working to revive such custom. The growth of small businesses and cottage industries will be facilitated by this craft expo.
