Celebrating Bangabandhu’s Birth Centenary by Cutting Cake with the Children at Momo Inn

Sheikh Mujib means Bangladesh, the Golden Bangladesh of dreams. Bangabandhu is not just a name; he symbolizes our pride, our infinite courage. His ideals are the basis for our eternal inspiration. Sheikh Mujib took every possible measure to lead a country smoothly, to realize the golden dream of the Bengalees, and to form a timely modern state based on the spirit of the Liberation War. He has made an unforgettable contribution in all matters necessary for a state and is considered as the solid footing for any development in Bangladesh. On 17th March, the birth centenary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Children’s Day-2021 was celebrated with due dignity at the initiative of TMSS. The architect of independent Bangladesh, the undisputed leader of the Bengali nation was born on this day in 1920 in an aristocratic Muslim family in Tungipara, Gopalganj district.

The Birth Centenary celebrations of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman were inaugurated by cutting cake with the children at Hotel Momo Inn in Bogura. Prof. Dr. Hosne Ara Begum, the Founder Executive Director of TMSS, Prof. Md. Ansar Ali Talukder, Controller of Examinations, Pundra University of Science and Technology, TM Ali Haider, Managing Director, BCL Group, family members and officials of various levels of TMSS and Mom Inn Hotel were present.

Various institutes run by TMSS including Pundra University of Science and Technology and all the medical & educational institutes run by TMSS Grand Health Sector carried out various day-long programs in compliance with hygiene rules. Among the programs organized on the occasion of the day were hoisting of national flag, releasing of balloons and pigeons, unveiling of Mujibvarsha commemorative wrapping, cutting of cakes, discussion on life and work of Bangabandhu, video screening, day-long voluntary blood donation program, essay competition, tree planting and prayer mahfil.
