In response to the widespread floods affecting numerous districts across the country, TMSS has taken proactive steps to support affected communities. On June 28, 2024, TMSS Sylhet division coordinated the distribution of essential relief supplies at 9 locations across Sylhet and Sunamganj districts.
Local administrative officials played a pivotal role in facilitating this initiative, ensuring smooth and efficient distribution of relief materials. Notably, Mr. Abdullah Ibn Masud, Upazila Executive Officer of Companyganj, Mr. Rezaul Karim, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) of Sunamganj Sadar, and Mr. Abu Saleh Md. Nasim Abdullah, Assistant Commissioner (Land) of Taherpur Upazila, actively participated in and supported TMSS’s relief efforts.
The initiative aimed to alleviate the hardships faced by flood-affected individuals and families, underscoring TMSS’s commitment to serving the community during times of crisis. As the situation continues to evolve, TMSS remains dedicated to providing ongoing support and assistance to those in need.
