The Phulbari-2 branch of the Kurigram zone, under the Rangpur domain of TMSS Microfinance, has been recognized as the best branch in the PKSF evaluation for the implementation of the Water and Sanitation program. This achievement, supported by the World Bank and PKSF, highlights the branch’s outstanding dedication and performance in enhancing community water and sanitation facilities.
On July 4th, the award ceremony was held in the presence of Executive Directors and senior officers from 76 Microfinance Institutions (MFIs), along with senior officials from PKSF. Abdur Razzak, the branch head of Phulbari-2, proudly received the memento and crest from Dr. Md. Jasim Uddin, Additional Managing Director of PKSF. The event was graced by the presence of Rokeya Ahmed, a renowned water and sanitation expert from the World Bank’s Water Global Practice.
Mr. Sohrab Ali Khan, TMSS Deputy Executive Director and a distinguished microcredit expert, extended heartfelt greetings and thanks to all the colleagues and stakeholders of the Phulbari-2 branch.
