Background of Education Domain
TMSS established “Education Domain” in 2013 to facilitate and strengthen the capacity of institutions for ensuring quality education for the students. Since then all of the educational institutions including the university have been successfully operating under the relevant sectors and domains of TMSS as per approved rules and regulations of TMSS and Government of Bangladesh. The aim of TMSS educational programs is to transform human resources into human capital while enhancing competencies and capacities to meet the ever growing national and global challenges.
Internship Program of Education Domain
The internship program aims to provide students (national and international) with practical knowledge and experiences in their disciplines. All technical and medical course curriculums have been designed for the internee students which are an essential part of their study. In addition, internship programs are open to international students and other fellows who are interested in development arena. Overview of Education Institutions
While the Education system in Bangladesh has made great strides in increasing access to education over the past decade, educational quality remains comparatively low. Inadequate resources, insufficient and unqualified teachers, lack of community involvement and corruption all contributed to the present state of education in Bangladesh. In recent years, TMSS has given special emphasis on improving education in Bangladesh and established 42 institutes, which are focused on from primary to advanced level of education along with the technical, health and medical education. A list of educational institutes is provided at a later section. In addition, internship programs are open to international students and other fellows who are interested in development arena. Pundra University of Science and Technology (PUST)
In 2001 TMSS established 'Pundra University of Science and Technology (PUB)' at Gokul, Bogura. The word Pundra stems from the ancient Pundra Civilization (Pundra Nagar) and in that time it is recorded in historical accounts that there was a university which was contemporary of Lalon University. services with high professional standards.
TMSS Medical College Dental Unit (TMCDU)
Producing best quality Dental Specialist in the country and provide continuous patient care services with high professional standards.
TMSS Medical College (TMC)
Expansion of doctors' pool following poor and meritorious students access to medical science study.
TMSS Nursing College (TNC)
To produce highly qualified and skilled Nurses through training and teaching by utilizing modern and upgraded patient nursing technology in order to strengthen with their support the health service and provide proper health care to all.
TMSS Medical Institute of Research and Technology (TMIRT)
Producing highly qualified and skilled medical technologists and develop ultrasonography as an effective diagnostic option.
TMSS Medical Assistant Training School (TMATS)
Producing qualified and skilled Medical Assistants to serve the poor and save them from quacks and misleading treatment.
