TMSS International Desk (TID)

Four decades ago TMSS was established and grown to be as one of the largest NGOs in Bangladesh by implementing multipurpose
activities in different areas for the overall development of the socio-economic conditions of the poor and the underprivileged people of the
country. TMSS International Desks activities are ongoing since 2016 and highlight the importance of connecting TMSS to the global
community. It’s role is to promote the work and TMSS image through international collaborations and relationships with global
organizations, continue activities in supporting fundraising, participating in global seminars, conferences, workshops and summits.

Goal

To promote the social development and humanitarian work of the organization. To ensure women's rights in the society and with an aim of promoting the organization through recognition at the international level

Activities

TID has been facilitating rapport building with reputed International Development Organizations, Donors, Think Tanks, Corporations, Foundations, Universities, Institutions, United Nations, Media and other Multilateral Organizations. Under the direct supervision and coordination of TID, TMSS high officials have attended different national and international seminars; symposiums and conducted exposure visits abroad and welcoming distinguished national and international guests/visitors. TID has been involved in publishing newsletters, research, project proposal writing, donor correspondence, MoU with relevant overseas organizations, participation in different national and international trade fairs etc. At present, through TID’s intervention, a project named “ASHA”- a novel depression treatment and economic strengthening intervention for low income women in rural Bangladesh, is going to be implemented jointly with icddr,b.
